Dry Night Confirmed for Dubai This Week

With respect to the Holy celebration of Arafat Day, the day before Eid Al Adha the emirate will observe a dry night.

With respect to the Holy celebration of Arafat Day, the day before Eid Al Adha the emirate will observe a dry night. 


The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) announcing Eid Al Adha will fall over the coming weekend (July 20 - August 2).


Dubai will be dry for the night from 6:30 pm on Wednesday, July 29 until 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 30.


Bars and restaurants across Dubai will not be serving any alcoholic beverages. There will also be no entertainment activities or parties.


The dry night falls ahead of the Eid weekend, for which public sector holidays have been announced.


Public sector employees will see the Eid Al-Adha holiday fall from Thursday, July 30 until Sunday, August 2, with work resuming on Monday, August 3.


The next public holiday in Dubai is Islamic New Year, on Sunday, August 23.
