COVID-19: Prices of PCR COVID tests at DHA reduced
The Dubai Health Authority has announced the reduction of prices for the PCR COVID-19 tests.
Residents in Dubai looking to get a PCR COVID-19 test can now do so for AED 150 in any DHA (Dubai Health Authority) facility and/or government hospitals.
However, prices of PCR tests in private hospitals and clinics remains the same at the rate of AED 250.
To encourage pre-emptive medical examinations as a precautionary and preventive measure, we reduced the cost of #COVID19 PCR tests to AED 150 in DHA facilities tweeted the DHA Dubai account.
The UAE has witnessed a spike in the number of COVID cases reported the past few weeks, and is continuously carrying out a high number of tests daily and making sure to be able to provide tests to the biggest number of people possible.
The UAE has in addition also launched 3 three new COVID-19 testing centres in Rashadiya, Hamriya Port and Jumeirah 1 Port. That now totals to 5 dedicated COVID-19 testing centres. The public can make bookings through the DHA toll-free number (800342).
