COVID-19: Abu Dhabi Inter-Emirate Travel Restrictions Lifted

Abu Dhabi has eased movement restrictions between Emirates but permits are still required to enter the capital.

Abu Dhabi has eased movement restrictions between Emirates however permits are still required for residents to enter the capital.


Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis & Disaster Committee for the Covid-19 Pandemic, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police and DOH released a statement announcing all residents of the capital can now move between Abu Dhabi's regions (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra) from 6 am June 23.


Residents do not require a permit to leave the city.


The restrictions on entering the city have been extended for one more week, with usual exemptions for special permits which include delivery of goods, mail and other special cases.
