The Abu Dhabi Media Office has released a statement being implemented Tuesday, June 30 onwards movement into Abu Dhabi will be allowed to all commuters providing a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of attempting to enter.

Proof of results can be through the AlHosn App or an SMS from UAE affiliate medical institutions.

As of last week, residents of the Abu Dhabi region have been permitted to roam freely in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra as well as leave the Emirate. However, entry into the Emirate was restricted.

This is being implemented as part of the National Screening Programme, a campaign of strategies to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
