Abu Dhabi Travel Ban Extended By One More Week
Restrictions on the Emirate's travel have been extended by one more week, in addition to the last two weeks.
The Abu Dhabi movement restrictions have been further extended by one week, as of June 16.
Travel in and out of the Emirate which covers Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafrah is prohibited. This extension leads the capital into its third week since the travel restrictions were imposed.
The ban applies to all nationals and residents. Exemptions are made for employees in vital sections and for transfer of goods and mail - for which the Abu Dhabi police have allocated security points to ensure smooth flow.
