Burj Khalifa fireworks show confirmed for New Years Eve 2020

Dubai Tourism released a statement confirming the annual fireworks at the iconic Downtown Dubai spot

2020 cannot go by any quicker, we're sure it's exactly what everyone is waiting for and the cherry on the top is the news that the iconic Burj Khalifa will be hosting the annual New Year's Eve firework and laser display is confirmed.


As it is with every year, Downtown Dubai will prepare for a show that will go down in the books. There will be special viewing platforms set up across the area while the event will be broadcasted around the world, we can expect coverage to start at 8:30 pm local time. The world's tallest tower, The Burj Khalifa, is bringing back the fireworks display that will light up the sky with the parade that usually attracts thousands of visitors from around the world.


Strict health and safety measures will be put in place in live w the directive of the Government - thermal cameras, social distancing, contactless payments and frequent deep cleaning and disinfection can be found in place.

This year for the first time ever we are also expected to witness fireworks hosted at The Dubai Frame. Other firework shoes will also take place at Atlantis the Palm, which includes a grand display of festive fireworks to light up the entire Palm Jumeirah and can be viewed from The Pointe. The iconic Burj Al Arab New Year’s Eve will also be bringing back their annual fireworks.
