Dubai has innumerable beaches for its people to spend time. We have picked a few of them, which are recognized as the best public beaches in Dubai.

La Mer

Situated in the Jumeirah 1 district between Pearl Jumeirah and Jumeirah Bay, La Mer stretches across 13.4 million square feet to the sea. The beach is divided into three areas such as La Mer North, La Mer South and Laguna. If you are looking for a place to relax the whole day, you can be here and lie down on the sand or sway on a hammock. There are cabanas offering beautiful views of the Arabian Gulf, which you can rent or soak up the sun on a comfortable daybed.

The Laguna Waterpark at the beach offers great entertainment with water sports, water slides and inflatable playground called Hawa Hawa. The La Mer beach is also known for shops, restaurants and cafes for shopping and dining.

Black Palace Beach

Tucked away between the royal palaces is the Black Palace Beach, which is also called Secret Beach or Al Sufouh Beach. The access to the beach is through a sandy path, which is not easily noticeable. You have every chance to miss the entrance path because of long rows of palm trees. Other than the pristine sands and beautiful views of the sea, there are no facilities for shopping or dining, yet the beach is crowded during holidays and weekends.

Visitors come here with kids to swim in the shallow water or spend peaceful time with their family watching the astounding views of Burj Al Arab and Palm Island. You can also play football or volley ball on the sand. You also get to book a yacht tour and go deep into the sea to enjoy the sunset and buffet dinner.

JBR Beach

Among a few trendiest beach spots in Dubai, The Beach, which is opposite to Jumeirah Beach Residences or JBR, attracts a lot of crowd for its ideal location, amazing activities and exciting shopping and dining. For those who look for idyllic beachside lifestyle can be here to enjoy the sun lying on the sand. There are cabanas and sunbeds for rent if you are here with your family.

You can indulge in a lot of activities such as playing water sports, flying 12 storeys above the earth and enjoying stunning views and watching the latest blockbusters. You can also explore the food prepared by the famous Michelin-starred chefs and shop until you are tired at the JBR Beach Mall and other shopping centers.

Kite Beach

A favorite beach of people who are sports enthusiasts, the Kite Beach offers opportunities for kayaking, kitesurfing and other water sports. If you are an amateur in kitesurfing, you can get lessons, as well as training sessions from experts. The other sports you can try are paddle boarding and skating. Children can enjoy water activities at the Splash N Party Waterpark or engage in adventure at the outdoor park swinging on aerial ropes. The beach has numerous restaurants, cafes and bars to explore a variety of Arabic and other kinds of foods.

Sunset Beach

You can get a wonderful view of the iconic Burj Al Arab at the Sunset Beach, which is also called the Umm Suqeim Beach. It lies close to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and therefore, you can find a lot of people on the beach for morning or evening stroll or walk. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset at the beach or swim in the evenings. The Wild Wadi Waterpark is located near the Sunset Beach.
