COVID-19: The Sinopharm vaccine and where you can get it in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah

Residents are now able to register for a free vaccination, if they would like to.

Last week, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it had approved the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine for use in the UAE. Now, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has started taking registrations for the vaccination, with Covid-19 vaccines in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah now available.


Health authorities in the UAE have released a full list of all the clinics and hospitals where UAE residents can now go and get a COVID-19 vaccination in the emirates.


The voluntary vaccination programme began several days ago in Abu Dhabi, it has now been extended to Dubai and the Northern Emirates – with residents now able to register for a free vaccination should they wish.

Where?

Dubai: 

The vaccine is available at Dubai Parks and Resorts field hospital.


Abu Dhabi:

In Abu Dhabi, the vaccine is available at all clinics run by Seha, the emirate’s public health operator, and at hospitals and clinics run by VPS Healthcare.


Sharjah:

The vaccine is available at Wasit Medical Centre, from 4 pm to 9 pm.


Ajman:

Al Humaidiya Centre, from 9 am to 12.30 pm and 5 pm to 8.30 pm is where the vaccine can be found.


Umm Al Quwain:

In Umm Al Quwain, the vaccine is available at Al Bait Metwahid centre. From 8 am to 1 pm.


Fujairah:

In Fujairah, the vaccine is available at Murashied Medical Centre.


Cost

Currently, COVID-19 vaccinations are available free in the aforementioned Emirates.
