Nestled high up on the 26th floor of the Intercontinental hotel above the hustle and bustle of the Dubai Festival City, this bar provides the ideal break from the crowds below. This bar does not detract your views of the city due to the floor to ceiling windows that allow unparalleled views of the busy city skyline and beyond, which is even more pronounced towards dusk when the city starts to light up and sparkle beneath you.
The sky lounge provides an 80’s retro feel with its extensive use of luxury carpets and chrome throughout the bar. Many of the customers and visitors to this bar are “regulars” who just love the view whilst sipping one of the many types of champagne that are on sale here, and is available by the glass or bottle. The Eclipse worked out a long time ago that if you provide good drink at not so inflated prices, your customers will come back, Bar snacks are available from here upon request, as well as a good selection of cocktails.
This is one of those bars that can either invigorate or relax you depending on your mood at the time. This really is the perfect location if you’re looking for a great bar vibe mixed with stunning views.
The staff are ultra-accommodating here. The bar staff could not be more helpful by providing cosy pashminas if you are feeling cold and even table lamps if you struggle with the low lighting ambience. With seating for sixty people it is best to arrive early unless you are happy standing, if you arrive early to get a window table the stunning views will keep you in awe and amused all night. What a view!
