Openly racist establishment. I went there for a drink. As I was scanning the menu, a waitress came to my table and asked to see my ID. I thought this was about age, but clearly it was about where I was from. She looked at my passport for some time then took it to who I presume is the supervisor/manager. After some time she came back to my table and told me they cannot serve me and that I should leave. I asked her why and she said it’s because I’m not Emirati and they only serve Emiratis. I know this is not true because I have many non-Emirati friends from Europe and other Arab countries that go there pretty frequently. It was very obvious why I was being asked to leave. I was not welcome there because of what I look like(colour-wise) and where I’m from. This is clearly a racist establishment that only welcomes Arabs and Caucasians. If you are anything else, especially if you are black, don’t bother to go here. You will be asked to leave. Open racism in the 21st century. 🚮
